THE EVENING OF THE DAY OF THE JACKAL PREMIERE
Treading the red carpet with Eddie Redmayne and Lashana Lynch (OK, not actually with them, but there at the same time) on the Southbank at the London Prem of The Day of the Jackal.
Marvellous night back in Grosvenor House last Thursday at the British Arrows ‘24. And very good to see a script from freelance days picking up a Craft Bronze for animation. Shame that the F1 ad didn’t pick anything up in the same category, but there were lots of great ads up there so can’t complain too much!
Super proud to have played a small part in helping in the production of this great book by photographer George Logan. Lion: Pride Before the Fall presents is a collection of his wild lion photography with a clear, vital message: join the fight to protect the last remaining wild African lions… or risk losing them forever.
It brings the plight of Africa's remaining lions into sharp focus with its array of poignant, thought-provoking images. It celebrates the life-cycle of the lion in all its raw beauty, as well as a dedicated conceptual art section, which is where I helped with one of the images. And one of the most amazing things about this book is that Born Free will receive 75% net proceeds of sales and all profits will go towards helping protect and re-establish The Last Lions of Meru in Kenya. …and for The National Lottery that goal was helping all the clubs in the Vanarama League survive these pretty testing times for sport. And this is the first ad out for while thanks to the enforced Covid break over the last few months. And a bit of a quick turnaround affair. Let’s hope all those clubs live to play another season.
Lovely Christmas present from the guys at Smuggler!
We got the wooly jumpers out on a hot couple of days in August, nice, filming the new spot for Save The Children’s Christmas Jumper Day with Neil Harris and Smuggler. Amazingly managing to fit in multitudes of locations in just two days. Knitting grannies, security guards, bus drivers and window cleaners all braved the summer heat in their various festive pullovers…
